Walking is a great way to experience the Heart of Kent countryside. An excellent network of footpaths allows anything from a short stroll to a full day's walk, or even a hike lasting several days to be enjoyed.
Several of the most well known walks in Kent criss-cross the Heart of Kent region, including the Pilgrim's Way, the North Downs National Trail and the Weald Way. Other Kent country walks, such as the Tunbridge Wells Circular, Eden Valley Walk, the Greensand Way, Stour Valley Walk and the Maidstone Millennium Walk concentrate on the Heart of Kent area, taking in many of the area's best features along the way.
