Westerham Brewery, Edenbridge
Independent small brewery producing Kentish ales using Kentish hops, including those from Scotney estate, the only National Trust owned hop farm. Brewery tours by arrangement.
The Secret Garden, Mersham
Restored working Victorian walled kitchen garden with restaurant and food hall specialising in local produce on site, including a butcher. Samplings and tastings. The restaurant is open all day (Mon to Sat, but 10-4 Sun), including for evening a la carte dinner.
Perry Court Farm Shop, Bilting
Situated just below the North Downs, Perry Court grows over 100 varieties of apples and pears as well as many other fruit and vegetables. Tastings are available throughout the year; customers are welcome to visit the farm. The farm shop is open 7 days a week from 8.30am-6pm.
Chapel Down Winery, Tenterden
Well-known Kent vineyard with tastings, walks, gardens, etc. Also Biddenden Vineyard nearby which also produces apple juice and cider.
Museum of Kent Life
Hop, herb & kitchen gardens, and agricultural buildings including granary, hopper's cottage and oast. A very interesting insight into farming practices and food production in times gone by.
8 September - Maidstone's Beer Festival 20th Anniversary. Join the Camra team in beer marquee & sample 90 different types of real ale on tap until it runs out. Live bands, food & other entertainment will be available throughout the day.
The Hop Farm, nr Paddock Wood
The story of hops and farming told in displays and a museum, plus a chance to see retired Whitbread beer shire horses, plus Kentish produce on sale. Cafe. 
The Hop Shop, Shoreham
Farm foods, hops for decoration and lavender, including lavender biscuits, lavender fudge and more.

Dining with a difference - you can either hop on board for one of the Ploughman's or cream teas on offer, or pull out all the stops for luxury Pullman dining on several evenings (and Sunday lunch) throughout the year.
